The selective replacement of elements to the rear of this terrace house provides a mere 6 square metres of additional space but creates a series of flexible spaces that respond to the needs of the occupants.

The massing of the house was treated as an oversized still life: the selective replacement of existing elements creating a composition where the new work engages with the existing spaces of the house.
