Park Masterplans

Inner West Council have produced a Plan of Management priority list identifying which open spaces within the Inner West LGA it feels are in greatest need of review. In 2019, Welsh + Major Architects were engaged by Inner West Council to develop Plans of Management and accompanying Master Plans for eight top priority parks.

The plan involves the upgrade, maintenance and better distribution of facilities, and responds directly to the concerns and suggestions which have come out of the community consultation stage. The aim of the Park Plans is to provide recreational spaces which feel inviting and safe, and which provide spaces for the specific needs of the demographic of each area.
