Bathurst Animal Rehoming Centre
The Bathurst Animal Rehoming Centre is a facility for the management of companion animals in the Bathurst region.
The brief was to create a comfortable and welcoming space for the community, whilst maintaining exceptional standards for the welfare of the animals.
The design includes animal enclosures, an adoption pavilion and a companion animal training facility, with spaces for educational and therapy workshops and interconnecting walkways to the main shelter and administration building.
Bathurst Animal Rehoming Centre will be the start of a new era for the management of companion animals in the Bathurst Region. It provides a modern, large capacity facility that provides a welcoming customer environment and exceptional animal welfare outcomes. The Centre features an Adoption Pavilion, companion animal education facility and council offices and will be the first purpose-built facility of its type in regional NSW.
