Cohen Park

Utilising a remnant brick wall of a long since demolished warehouse, Cohen Park has been reinvigorated with a new amenities building, tennis hit-up walls, hard courts and a cricket practice pitch to augment the existing playing fields.

The amenities take their material cue from the remnant brick wall, building a robust solid masonry enclosure within which details in timber, fibre cement and steel allow natural light and air to filter through. The resulting building plays with lightness and solidity, delivering safe, equitable and accessible facilities to a much loved local public space.
