Food at the Overflow

Sydney Olympic Park, NSW

Sydney Olympic Park is created at a scale capable of undertaking large scale events. This project introduces built forms to mediate the scale shift from the macro of the olympic venues and public spaces, to the personal - the simple act of choosing, cooking and eating food. The proposal brings together over 100 vendors to offer a wide range of food along a covered 'foodstreet' - a market place concourse with stalls, food 'pods', wine room and seating for 1200 patrons.
