One of seven terraces built circa 1845, this state heritage listen terrace is an example of the Georgian style in Sydney. The alterations and additions to the terrace involved many experiments with recycled materials resulting in wide variation in surface form, colour and texture.
This project was the winner of the 2009 AIA NSW Chapter Greenway award for a heritage building.
The Jury Citation: "Let's hope that in this period of architectural history, where serious debate over architectural heritage is so needed, this house may ignite convesation and change and encourage us to move forward creatively, enriching and continuing history."
